6 GT: Painting/ art



Hi everyone! Are you spending good holidays?

Have you ever heard about Andy Warhol? Do you know about his main subjects, themes, influence, etc? Do you like his painting?

I am currently trying to organize a day out in Mons. We could visit the Life, death and beauty exhibition and also go to Van Gogh's house?

If you don't say anything on this blog (either positive or negative) I'll just forget about this little trip ...

    Hi, during this holidays, I went to mons and I saw a lot of posters of the exposition about Andy Warhol ! That looks interresting ! Plus van gogh is a famous painter ! :D adèle

    I think it could be interresting to visit this exposition because we saw a lot about painting. And those 2 people are famous and everybody know them.

    Hi, No I don't know who is Andy Warhol, but I find that to visit the exposition in Mons is a good idea!

    yes , i like the universe of andy warhol ( his painting , his sculpture...) . he was a real genius .Thus, i like the velvet underground with his famous singer lou reed and the violinist,guitarist john cale. The producer of this band is andy warhol.

    It's very good because when I was in 3rd ou 4th at school, we've paint our head as A.W.'s art. As he did with M. Monroe.

    It's a very good idea. Andy W is the man who drew the picture ( the famous banana) of the first album of The Velvet Underground. Andy W was very close of the members of this band.Sad new, Lou Reed , the leader of The Velvet , passed away last week. So , I'm very interested to see this exhibition to know more about Andy W.
